Lotion vs Cream

I suppose you can almost consider me an expert on therapeutic creams and lotions. I've tried most all of them, beginning when I was a little girl when my mom used to occasionally use her over the counter lotions on me. I just liked the way my skin felt after she rubbed some on my face and arms.

Even so it was when I entered my teen years in high school that I began to experience problems that prompted me to look at them in a different light. First my freckles began to darken and become more pronounced on my shoulders, arms and face and then I began to struggle with mild acne.

Eventually the acne problems passed but of course the dark freckles always hung around and when I passed into my early thirties, other minor issues began to make their presence known. These were fine lines in the skin of my face and uneven skin tone, with the darker areas under my eyes being my biggest concern.

A positive turning point came when a friend of mine at work got a face peel and her doctor prescribed Kinerase Lotion for her to use while her skin recovered. The difference in her skin was incredible but of course the peel was responsible for that. Even so, she claimed that the Kinerase Lotion was making a big difference and she gave me some in a paper cup to take home and try for myself.

It was just short of amazing and it produced results almost immediately. Within the first week my skin had become noticeable smoother, the fine lines were all but gone and the dark areas under my eyes had gradually faded away. Now I still have freckles and always will I suppose, but the larger darker freckles most definitely faded down.

So of course I got online and to buy some and was pleasantly surprised to see that Kinerase Lotion also comes in an economical 16 ounce jug with a plunger top. So now I had a product that finally worked for me and I didn't have to purchase it in overpriced tubes that only lasted a month or so. It doesn't end there though.

This is because now I just had to try Kinerase Cream. so I ordered some of it up at the same time. Now it's thicker and richer and a bit more oily, so I don't use it under my makeup in the morning, like I do the lotion. However; I do use it on the weekends when I'm just hanging around the house and it's also great for intensive nighttime therapy before I head off to bed.

What prompted me to sit down and write all this down was a picture my daughter took of me out on our back patio last week during her 11th birthday party. I have a photo album where I keep pics from each of her parties, beginning with her first and last years party was also out on the back patio. So I was placing this years pictures in and almost fell out of my chair in shock.

There I was holding two photos of me taken one year apart in the same area of our backyard. Same lighting, same everything with one exception. That was that the difference in my face was incredible. I simply hadn't realized the difference that Kinerase lotion and cream had made since I began using them ten months ago. It's simply amazing.
